Infantry Gear Directives

Special Gear

Optics- Optics are only to be issued to Team Leaders, Squad Leaders, and Designated Marksmen. These are expensive bits of kit, and would only really go tot hose who absolutely needed them.

Grenade Launchers- Grenade Launchers are also only authorized for Grenadiers, SLs and TLs. Note: SLs and TLs should focus their loadout on things like smokes and flares for signaling and illumination.

Mine Detectors- Mine Detectors should be carried by at least one person per fireteam. C

laymore Mines- All Personnel are to carry 1x claymore mine.

Demolitions Team Leaders should carry 2x demolition blocks and firing device.

Radios Radios are only to be carried by TLs, medics, and up, as well as their second-in command. the 2IC should not be an active participant on the net, however. Medics will carry one spare radio in the event one is needed.

Spray Paint This is suggested for clearing buildings and marking them as cleared.

For the Squad

Each Squad is authorized to designate the following…

1x Marksman,who is authorized to carry the m14 with an optic (or m16 with an optic, at their discretion).

1x Heavy AT, Who will carry either the Carl Gustav, 90mm, or AT, depending on the mission.

For the individual Rifleman

This is for all members of the rifle squad with the exception of the MG gunner/ AR. Any exceptions will be noted. Other possible edge-cases should be run up the chain of command. Loadouts after this are in addition to/ amendments to this framework.

1x M72 Law- Exception: AT Specialist.

1x Greenmag Belt of m249 ammunition (100 or 200rd 5.56). Exception: Grenadier, AT Specialist, and Automatic Rifleman (The AR should just focus on carrying as much 5.56 as possible.)

2x 60rd Boxes of ammunition for their primary weapon.

At least 13 packed mags of ammo for their primary weapon.

At least 2x m67 Frag Grenades

At least 4x Yellow smokes and 1 Green Smoke

Ear plugs, E-Tool, Fulton Flashlight Map tools, Map, Compass, Watch

Binoculars

2x Cable Ties 2x Tourniquet, 2x Splint, 10x Elastic Bandage, 1x Epinephrine, 1x Morphine, 2x Painkillers.

Helmet, Uniform, Loadbearing Vest, Rucksack, rifle.

Sidearms are allowed for all, but will be noted when carrying them is recommended.

Eye protection, if available, is strongly encouraged.

Note: with some creative space management, a framed rucksack can carry a LAW inside it.

Grenadier

Underslung Grenade Launcher

80/20 split of explosive grenades and smokes.

Smoke Grenades should include red and yellow primarily for marking and concealment.

Flares may be carried as needed.

Automatic Rifleman

M249 SAW

No Law

As much 5.56 as possible in belts.

Sidearm

May drop the entrenchment tool and mine for more ammo.

AT Specialist

No Belts

M72 LAW or Carl Gustav- mission dependent Focus on carrying rockets, with a focus on HEAT.

Designated Marksman

M16 with scope and bipod, or m14 with the same.

Range Table recommended.

Sidearm for clearing.

Fireteam Leader

At least 2x Green Smoke

At least 2x Red Smoke

At least 2x Orange Smoke At least

1x Blue Smoke
